Tell all your other ST owner buddies to stop being so elitist and give a wave to their car’s dad, the SVT Focus.

I swear, I see several Focus STs around me and not a damn one acts like my car is even there.

When I was taking a Gen Coupe out for a test drive I got a wave from a pair of heavily modified gen coupes. It was like looking into the future

Unfortunately, I think it is much more difficult to differentiate an SVT from a normal focus of the same gen.

Not really. Most of them have an SVT badge on the back for starters. They all have fog lights. They all came with 17-inch wheels, so unless the owner changed them, the wheels will look larger than a normal Focus. The SVT also has 4-wheel disc brakes. The normal ZX3/ZX5 do not.

Some of them are bright blue, and being driven by me, who really wants to wave and give you a thumb-up and a doofy grin when you drive by ignoring me in your ST...

I find them a little difficult to spot at a glance as well. Always respect your elders!
